The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti succeeded the 456M in 2004 with a larger aluminum chassis and body for a true four-place, two-door grand tourer that followed V-12 front-engined 2+2 tradition without adding unthinkable extra doors to a car from Maranello. The Pininfarina-designed 612 Scaglietti takes its name and styling cues from 1950s and ‘60s Ferrari creations by Modenese stylist and coachbuilder Sergio Scaglietti.
