The ultimate derivation of the most powerful, beautiful and technologically advanced midengined V-8 Berlinetta in the company’s history, the 458 Speciale Aperta features a reworked version of the 4.5L/597 HP V-8 with revised intake tracts, higher-lift cams, reduced-friction internals and an increase in compression. The 458’s already lightning-quick, 7-speed, dual-clutch transmission was also reprogrammed for even quicker shifts.
Suspension upgrades, a new generation of carbon-ceramic brakes and improved Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires fill out the Aperta’s list of track-oriented enhancements.
