Of all the innovations that came from the DaimlerChrysler era, the Viper remains one of the most treasured. After a two-year absence, the model returned in its fifth-generation, now as an SRT-branded machine, and this GTS-trimmed example shows only 2,297 miles. Created as an offering to compete as an international supercar, by the time this Viper GTS Coupe arrived in 2013, the slick serpent was well-fed, refreshed and still coiled to strike. The venom is its 8.4L/640 HP V-10 engine, far updated from the 1990s version and backed with a 6-speed manual transmission. The reworked suspension offered improved road feel as well.
The body has the double-bubble roofline and is finished in black with a silver stripe package. The interior features bucket seats, air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo and power windows, locks and mirrors. There is side exhaust, and red brake calipers are visible behind the offset 18- and 20-inch, black, SRT 5-spoke alloy wheels, which host Pirelli P Zero tires.
