This car started life as a slant 6. After being rescued from a salvage yard, the car received extensive modifications to turn it into a street machine. The body was treated to custom metalwork including a 'Cuda fuel door, '68 charger marker lights, a custom rear valance with exhaust exits, shaved and tucked bumpers, and numerous other custom touches. Paint is PPG base coat/clear coat in show quality black and 2013 Dodge Dart silver. Pinstriping by the world famous Herb Martinez along with custom 'Dart 340' decals.
The car's stance is courtesy of a Hotchkis TVS suspension front and rear including custom valved Bilstien shocks along with custom built 18' Foose Challenger wheels stuffing as much rubber under the car as possible. 4-wheel Wilwood big disc brakes provide the stopping. Engine is a 70s era 340 topped with Edelbrock heads and intake, fueled by a F.A.S.T. EZ EFI throttle body. Custom valve covers, big welded aluminum dual snorkel intake and March serpentine belt system round out the engine goodies. Engine was professionally built/balanced/blueprinted with high end internals.
All of this power transfers through a TCI Street Fighter 727 3-speed automatic transmission with a custom driveshaft mated to a Moser fabricated 8 3/4' rear end with locker. Black interior has fresh carpet and modified bench seat with headrests removed for a simple look. Hand fabricated dash insert houses a full compliment of New Vintage USA red line gauges. Hand fabricated aluminum door and sail panels with Tig welded aluminum armrests complete the interior trim. Custom tunes with an Alpine tuner and amp powering high-end Boston Acoustics Pro Series speakers and subwoofer provide the music for cruising. This car is impeccably built with attention to detail and performance.
