- Screen-used in Furious 7 (2015) as Dominic Toretto's Charger during the rooftop parking-structure chase and jump sequence filmed in Los Angeles
- Constructed by Dennis McCarthy / Vehicle Effects Inc., Universal Pictures' long-time picture-car partner for the Fast & Furious franchise
- Sold directly by Vehicle Effects after filming to Fast & Furious Live, the officially licensed stage show based in the United Kingdom
- Powered by a 6.2-litre Chevrolet LS3 V8 paired to an automatic gearbox, engineered for reliability and repeat stunt performance
- Retains its hero-spec body configuration, roll-cage reinforcement, and visual cues matching its on-screen appearance
Re-engineered for demanding stunt work, the Charger was fitted with a modern 6.2-litre Chevrolet LS3 V8, a functional transmission, reinforced suspension, and a full roll cage. A non-functional blower was added to replicate Dominic Toretto's iconic look while allowing the car to perform reliably during repeated takes. Additional fabrication included production-specific rig mounts and adjustments required for rooftop driving and the vehicle-to-vehicle jump sequence. Following completion of principal photography, the car was sold directly by Vehicle Effects to Fast & Furious Live, Universal's officially licensed touring stunt show.
For stage use, it was fitted with more classic wheels to resemble Toretto's Charger from the first film. Acquired by Movie Cars Central in 2019, the car still retains production markings—including the Fast Live checklist on the passenger-side door—and remains in its film-used configuration. Offered with its UK V5 and the chain of provenance documents, including the bill of sale from Universal City Studios LLC to Vehicle Effects Inc., and the subsequent bill of sale to Fast Live Productions. The car will require mechanical recommissioning prior to use: the LS3 engine block shows a crack on one side and a water leak due to freezing damage.
While the car runs, repair or replacement of the engine block is advised. Alongside the Toyota Supra and Nissan Skyline, the Dodge Charger stands among the most emblematic vehicles of the Fast & Furious saga—an instantly recognisable symbol of Dominic Toretto and of the franchise's heritage. Please note: the passenger seat visible in some photographs is from the Buick GNX and is not included in the sale.
After further research we can confirm that this Dodge Charger was used as Dominic Toretto's car in Fast and Furious 8, instead of the 7th opus, as confirmed in the movie's keylist, as number 2.6. It was then repurposed and supplied by Dennis McCarthy to the Fast Live production
