Visual inspection by Mopar expert Galen Govier in 2014. Featured in two issues of Mopar Muscle in 2006. One of only 150 HEMI automatic cars sold new in the USA. Features include fully rebuilt period-correct 426/425hp HEMI by Ray Barton, correct dual quad carburetors, matching numbers 727 transmission, DANA 60 4.10 Trak-Pak rear end, power disc brakes, power steering, factory tachometer and gauges, wood grain rim blow steering wheel, center console with slapstick shifter, black vinyl upholstery and trim, verified correct body VIN numbers with reproduction Fender Tag, Rally wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires, space saver spare with canister and correct jack.
Refinished in the original Go-Mango exterior color. Sold new at Tidewater Dodge in Norfolk, VA, on 12-26-69 to Dennis Grabauskas. Interestingly, Dennis was in the Navy when he purchased the car, so his address on the title was that of his ship, the USS Leahy, docked in New York. Ownership history, past titles and registrations, featured magazines, restoration photos and Galen Govier report are all included.
