Utilizing the famous “Airflow” principle of design - being spacious and low-slung was pioneered by Chrysler and in 1941 it was brought to the public in its most beautiful expression yet. In factory brochures Chrysler declared the “new Airflow bodies are space-flared with amazing roominess. You sit low and secure with liberal head, shoulder and leg room.” Handsome features are abound and the Chrysler looks outstanding in dark green paint with a tan power-operated convertible top, dark red seats with tan cloth inserts and a dark red top boot. The car is driven by an inline six-cylinder engine with a Fluid-Drive transmission and has a distinctive grille and bright trim elements, plus a heater, clock, radio, dual mirrors, color-keyed steel wheels with factory hubcaps and trim rings.
