The unique machine wears brown paint topped with recently applied (in 2020) PPS 9H ceramic coating for a durable, low maintenance shine. Dual side mirrors, the grille and a color-synchronized finished wood bed with fifth-wheel ball hitch add heavy hauling supremacy with a ’70s sensibility.
The General Motors 1972-2003 trucks greatest hits compilation continues under the hood with a twin-turbocharged 6.6L Duramax Diesel V-8 engine and Allison automatic transmission power team. Wiles Diesel Performance built the monster motor with a body color-keyed collection of heavy-hitting equipment including a SDP Screamin’ Diesel Performance twin-turbo kit with powdercoated intakes and turbocharger cold side compressor housings. An S&B high-flow air filter gives the engine what it demands, and 4-wheel disc brakes slow the big rig down from speed.
