This custom 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu received a recent frame-off restoration on a clean chassis and body. This complete build is powered by a 462ci big-block engine, dressed to look like a 396, with a new steel crank, hypereutectic pistons, Clevite bearings, Melling high-volume oil pump, Crane 290H cam and Vortec cylinder heads. It is backed by a fully rebuilt Muncie 4-speed transmission, with an Auto Gear cluster, and down to a rebuilt 12-bolt rear differential with 3.55 posi-traction. Spent gases exit out of a new stainless 2.5-inch exhaust system. It is also equipped with new radiator, hoses, belts, new correct remote reservoir power steering pump, pulley, brackets and steering box.
Stopping is handled by correct original restored front 4-piston disc brakes, with new pads, calipers, rear brakes and brake lines. It also features new steering and suspension components throughout, and rides on 15x7-inch Rally wheels with radial tires. This Chevelle was stripped to bare metal, with full prep and paint in 2023, and then it was refinished in its original Marina Blue color. The extensive restoration also includes the exterior that features new bumpers, grille, weatherstripping, moldings, emblems and trim. The new black bucket-seat interior features gauges and Blinker tachometer, as well as a new wiring harness.
