Show-condition restoration on a rare matching-numbers 454ci 1970 El Camino SS Sport pickup out of Little Rock, AR. Solid, clean, very straight body, box metal, show-quality paint, no rust or damage visible. Original vinyl roof in very nice condition. All chrome and brightwork is in show condition, including rechromed front and rear bumpers. All stainless trim refurbished to new appearance. Solid original grille area with correct SS accent. All gaps and seams are nice and even at doors, hood and tailgate. All lights and lenses are in clean condition, including two original T-3 headlights. All accents/emblems and script in new condition.
Complete soft seal and weather strip kit installed with restoration, including door glass seals. Four new wheel well moldings installed. Matching-numbers 454/360hp big-block V8 with 500 ft/lbs of torque at 3,200 rpm. 400 turbo automatic transmission with rear differential. Brakes and steering suspension were rebuilt with the restoration, including new master cylinder and power brake booster. All support systems have been rebuilt or serviced as necessary, including re-cored/flushed radiator, replaced belts and hoses, battery, ignition wires, water and fuel pumps, starter and alternator.
Stock-appearance interior vinyl reupholstery, like-new carpets, door panels, console area and factory headrest. Very clean detailed box area, including refurbished/new box rail and tailgate caps with clean, damage-free inner wheel well tubs.
