A very expensive matching-numbers, body-off-frame restoration was done on this rust-free El Camino. No expense was spared. The frame and undercarriage are just as great as the top of the car, the engine bay, the interior and the bed. It has 57,581 original miles (mileage not indicated on the title) with less than 1,000 miles since the restoration. It's powered by a 327/300hp V8 engine and 4-speed manual Muncie transmission with 3:36 posi-traction rear end. It's also equipped with power steering, power drum brakes with new dual master cylinder, dealer-installed dual remote-controlled outside spot lights and original GE lamps.
Interior features include padded dash, tinted glass, red bench seat with seat belts, dual rear view mirrors, upgraded Stewart Warner full-gauge package with tachometer and custom El Camino floor mats. The Chevrolet air conditioning was installed by the delivering dealer, Placke Chevrolet. Sound is provided by a Delco AM/FM push-button radio with an AM/FM/CD player in the glove box and triaxial speakers behind seat. It also comes with its original Delco AM radio.
