$30,800 USD | Sold

This El Camino has come a long way from its original purpose as a work vehicle in 1964. Restoration started in 1998. The car now sits on Air Ride Technologies air suspension with separate front and rear adjustable control that can be low for show or more practical height for street. It is all conveniently located in the 'smugglers box' with an under-hood external air fitting for a manual fill if the need arises. Powered by a 283ci small-block engine with side-exit exhaust, notched to exit in front of the rear tires. Ratchet-shift Turbo 350 transmission. Porsche Guards Red with black SS-style stripes set off by a specific gray primer that gives the color a unique hue.

American Racing 5-spoke 17-inch front and rear spec wheels highlight the era and just fit the car. Highly detailed top to bottom and front to rear. The car has spent most of its life in Montana and Washington in the Northwest U.S. Over $38,000 documented receipts in the restoration.
