Starting in 1970, Chevrolet offered a new ZR-1 option package on the C3 Corvette, when purchased in conjunction with the LT-1 engine option. This rare, high-performance option included solid lifters, heavy-duty 4-speed transmission, power brakes, an aluminum radiator and a revised, high-performance suspension system. Only 58 ZR-1-equipped Corvettes were sold that first year. In the model years that followed, the ZR-1 package continued to be synonymous with Corvette exclusivity and high-performance. The example on offer is a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible finished in Arctic White, one of only 364 ZR1s painted in this color.
As close to a street legal, C7 racing Corvette as one can find, this ZR1 boasts a 6.2L, supercharged, LT5 V-8 engine that blasts out a whopping 755 HP through its 8-speed automatic transmission.
