Finished in 932 Saddle tan with 898E Saddle tan leather interior, this matching-numbers 1963 split-window Corvette was produced in January 1963 and sold new at Smith Chevrolet of Houston, TX. It is one of 1,505 produced with power coming from the matching-numbers L75 327/300hp single Carter 4-barrel carburetor V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission with 22,000 miles (title reads mileage exempt). Equipped with retractable rotating headlights, hood vents, bright rocker-panel trim, wraparound split bumpers and dual exhaust outlets exiting the rear valance.

Independent suspension is provided by unequal-length upper and lower A-arms on coil springs with shocks up front and a traverse leaf spring at the rear. The interior features brushed-aluminum trim that adorns the console and the glove box door, with a clock, ventilation controls and the Delco AM radio in the center. The 3-spoke steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer and gauges. It also features a factory heater/defroster, push-button Delco AM signal-seeking radio, factory hubcaps and whitewall tires.
