The 1966 Chevelle has been freshly restored in a complete rotisserie, nut-and-bolt fashion. The car has approximately 180 miles since the completion of this process, in which over $20,000 was spent on body and paint alone. The interior has been “slightly customized” with interior upgrades that include AutoMeter gauges, and a custom brushed-aluminum dash cover face, individualized steering wheel and tan upholstery that features a center console between bucket seats.

The drivetrain includes a 496-cid stroker V-8 engine that produces approximately 525- to 550-hp with its two four-barrel carburetor setup on an Edelbrock Endurashine intake. The air cleaner protrudes through the hood for maximum airflow. This fearsome unit is mated to a M22 “rock crusher” four-speed manual transmission and its corresponding General Motors 12-bolt rear end with 3.73:1 gearing for low-end power. The Chevy features hydro-boost brakes with brake rotors that are drilled and slotted and provided by Classic Performance. Further mechanical enhancements are found with two-inch dropped spindles, Mattson radiator and hydraulic clutch.

Billet Specialties five-spoke wheels are mounted with Nitto 555 Extreme tires, which are 17 x 7 and 17 x 8 in size. The car shows attention to detail in its “496” front fender badging, engine bay detailing and tidy undercarriage appearance.
