When production of the original Chevrolet Camaro ceased at the end of the 2002 model year, most believed that was the end of the line. It was a welcome surprise when a totally new fifth-generation Camaro was introduced for the 2010 model year. This modern concept evolved into the new 2012 model, marking the 45th anniversary of the Camaro. As always, the ZL1 was the top of the line in performance and styling, and this Black 2012 Camaro ZL1 is one of just 1,971 built. The appearance is enhanced by a power sunroof, custom blackout package and standard 20-inch black forged aluminum 10-spoke wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The raised reverse hood scoop features a large ZL1 badge.
The interior is leather with suede microfiber inserts, heated power seats and contrasting red stitching, with the package including accents on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob and shift boot. Controls and conveniences include the alloy pedal covers, power steering, brakes, locks, windows and mirrors.
