Introduced at the historic 1953 Motorama show in New York City’s posh Waldorf Astoria Hotel, the 1953 Cadillac Eldorado was a hand-built low production “Halo” car whose every charm is epitomized in this glorious Aztec Red example, winner of the 2010 AACA National First Prize at Hershey, Pennsylvania. Thoroughly renewed to its original opulence, it has been skillfully finished in base/clear coat to maximum effect and fitted with brand new Red and White leather seats, new carpet and a new trunk interior. In addition to rebuilding its powerful 331/210 HP engine, the car has new suspension and brakes, all new glass and weather stripping and a new White power convertible top.
Power steering and brakes, power windows seats and radio antenna are all standard on the Eldorado, as are its beautiful Kelsey-Hayes chrome plated wire wheels with Whitewall tires.
