Presenting a rare and beautiful example of a 1937 Buick Special 8 slant back Series 40 that has been fully restored. It is a rolling piece of artwork that runs and drives as good as it looks. As GM stated 'It's a Buick Again.' This car is a very rare slant back model that has been through a very extensive restoration. Everything has been restored or replaced with no expense spared. It has been driven just over 5,000 miles since completion to car shows and in parades. The sweeping body lines and beautiful black paint are clearly remarkable. This car is always a huge attention getter with its handsome good looks.

The black wheels with sliver hub caps and white wall tires compliment the black paint. The gorgeous interior brings you back in time to the 30s. The suicide doors lead you into literally a living room for the driver and all the passengers. The dash and gauges are timeless and in great working order. All of the windows roll up smooth and the seat cushions are very comfortable. The trunk compartment is neat and orderly with the spare tire and tools. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and home to the Buick 248cid valve-in-head eight engine. The engine starts quickly and purrs like a kitten. The engine is coupled with a 3-speed transmission with an overdrive feature.

The clutch is easy to use and the transmission shifts effortlessly. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed. This car is a true pleasure to own and drives amazing.
