The rebuilding of this Riviera has been a labor of love for over seven years. Every part that needed to be chromed or rechromed was done including the bumpers, grille, turn signal covers and taillight grilles. The stainless parts inside and out were all repolished. All removable body parts were taken off including the doors, hood, fenders and glass. The existing vinyl top, door handles, emblems and any unnecessary stainless or chrome parts were removed to streamline the Riviera. The motor and transmission were removed so that everything in the engine compartment could be cleaned, replaced and prepared for paint. The engine was rebuilt with performance upgrades.
It has less than 1,000 miles since build. The original rebuilt Turbo 400 transmission is mated to a balanced driveshaft. Additionally, the rear differential was removed, rebuilt and reinstalled. It has 4-wheel disc brakes. Interior features include black and light-gray leather over late-model Cadillac bucket seats, custom console with cup holders front and rear, custom door panels, late-model black carpet, new light gray headliner and dash pad, and matching black carpeted trunk. It rides on 5-spoke chrome Eagle wheels with low profile tires. It's finished in two-tone House of Kolor Ink Black Metallic Sparkle and Light Silver Flake with red pinstriping.
It's also equipped with a new iPod-ready radio, 6x9' speakers in the package tray and 5.5' speakers in the doors.
