Taking on a name already associated with Buick, the Riviera had been a part of the company since the introduction of the hardtop in 1949. Unlike most other GM automotive models, the new 1963 Riviera’s basic body shell and major components weren’t shared with any other models. This could also be said for the 1968 Riviera seen here. Finished in beige with a matching interior and vinyl top, this is a very original Buick with only 42,000 miles believed from new. It has a 430 V-8 and automatic transmission along with power steering and brakes, air conditioning, power windows and locks, tilt steering wheel and AM/FM radio.

The bucket seat/console interior shows a realistic amount of wear for a preserved original, while the exterior is overall quite presentable. It is a terrific example of Buick’s flagship luxury model.
