$42,900 USD | Sold

This 1967 Buick GS400 convertible is powered by its matching-numbers 400ci big-block V8 engine paired with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. It is equipped with power steering and power brakes. A frame-off restoration was performed by Nostalgia Motors in Boonton, NJ, and the work includes a powder-coated frame and detailed chassis. Finished in Platinum Silver Mist with a black interior and a black convertible top, it retains its original bucket seats and center console and is fitted with a newer correct convertible top and a tilt steering column. The engine bay features the factory-correct air cleaner, now commonly referenced as the “Star Wars” air cleaner.

Built at the Fremont plant in California, this GS400 was sold new at Graves Anderson Buick in Walla Walla, WA. Documentation includes original paperwork and books along with stacks of receipts, with records indicating more than $60,000 invested in restoration and maintenance. Additional documentation is included with the car, and it is noted as one of 2,140 GS400 convertibles
