The current (sixth) generation of BMW's luxurious flagship 7 Series was launched in 2015 in standard and long-wheelbase versions. The plug-in hybrid 740e and 740Le iPerformance models joined the range in 2016, both equipped with the German manufacturer's xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The 740e/Le iPerformance is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 255 bhp, working in conjunction with an electric motor to deliver a combined output of 322 bhp. Drivers can choose from multiple operating modes via BMW's Auto eDrive function.

This 740Le xDrive iPerformance was ordered in Belgium by its current owner, who specified the M-Sport package for the ultimate in comfort, as well as a sunroof.
