This 1972 BMW 2002 Roundie 2-door saloon is finished in Nautical Blue Metallic with a new black vinyl interior and leather-wrapped dash. Every part of the vehicle was stripped, reconditioned and repaired, or replaced with NOS parts. The car maintains its factory-original appearance on the outside with a recent Nautical Blue Metallic paint job, original and NOS BMW glass, seals and upgraded lighting. It's been fitted with tasteful upgrades and modern touches, such as BBS-type RS honeycomb-style three-piece wheels and tinted glass.

The interior boasts new black vinyl upholstered seats in the front and rear and a professionally designed Kenwood audio system featuring an internet-connected touchscreen head unit, Kenwood speakers and JL amplifier and subwoofer, as well as custom Kooglewerks speaker pods. The audio system in the BMW 2002 was designed to sound great and offer modern conveniences like navigation, music streaming and Bluetooth. Center-console-mounted dual-USB charger and custom Coco-mats for driver and passenger carpet round out the interior. Under the hood is a completely refreshed and upgraded BMW M10 2.0-liter inline-4 engine with boosted compression and all-new hoses, belts and wiring.

A high-flowing header and complete stainless-steel Borla exhaust system were also fitted to enhance the car's sound and make more power. The factory 4-speed transmission was swapped with a reconditioned 5-speed manual transmission from a later 3-Series. To improve the driving dynamic of the car on the road, the suspension was upgraded with Bilstein shocks, stiffer springs, thicker sway bars and reconditioned brakes on all four corners. This special car is frequently referred to by the fitting nickname of 'Dory' after the character in Pixar's 'Finding Nemo.'
