The Bentley Bentayga was a landmark vehicle for Bentley, the British luxury automaker’s first entry into the ultra-premium SUV segment. Unveiled in 2015 and arriving at dealerships in 2017, the Bentayga instantly became one of the most talked-about SUVs in the world, combining Bentley’s traditional craftsmanship with serious off-road capability and surprising performance. At its heart, the Bentayga was powered by a 6.0 litre twin, turbocharged W12 engine producing around 600bhp and 664 lb-ft of torque.
This prodigious power allowed the SUV to sprint from 0-60 mph in about 4.0 seconds and reach a top speed over 180mph, figures that were nearly unheard-of for a vehicle of its size and weight at the time. Bentley paired the W12 with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an advanced all-wheel-drive system, giving the Bentayga confident and capable handling both on roads and on less-forgiving terrain. Inside, the Bentayga was pure Bentley: sumptuous leather upholstery, deep-pile carpets, extensive hand-finishing, and myriad customization options. Buyers could choose from an almost endless palette of hides, veneers, and trim details, making each vehicle highly personal.
The cabin is spacious and quiet, with rear passengers treated to luxury amenities like heated and ventilated seats, fold-out tables, and optional massaging functions. Technology in the Bentayga included a large infotainment display, navigation, premium audio systems (including optional Naim for Bentley), and a suite of safety features such as adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and night vision. Despite its luxury focus, the Bentayga also offered genuine utility: a generously sized cargo area and towing capacity competitive with other high-end SUVs.
This delightful Bentley Bentayga is finished in Dark Sapphire Blue with a Linen and Imperial Blue Interior. To be expected from such a premium marque this is a great specification vehicle with luxuries such as; sunroof blind, comfort front seats (five seat configuration), panoramic roof, bright chrome fittings to windows and doors, electric seats with memory, heated seats and ventilated front seats with massage function. The 6.0 litre engine runs well, smooth and quiet in its delivery of power, these Bentleys have magnificent ergonomics and offer a great driving experience.
