Introduced in 2005, the V8 Vantage was designed as Aston Martin's 'entry level' sports car. Penned by Henrik Fisker, it is based off the DB9 platform but with a smaller body. Although originally powered by a 4.3l V8, an improved 4.7l V8 is introduced in 2008, correcting the engine's shortcomings and improving drivability and performance. A notable feature of the V8 Vantage's driving experience is the counterclockwise rev counter, which rotates in an opposite direction to the speedometer, both needles getting closer and closer as the car goes faster and faster.
This particular V8 Vantage was specially ordered by an Aston Martin enthusiast and important collector, and tastefully specced in a light color combination of Champagne beige with dual-tone Sahara Tan and Sandstorm. Generously optioned by the owner and displaying very low mileage, with only 156 km on the odometer, this car has been recommissioned by Stratton Motors Company prior to the sale and will come with an original Swiss duplicate cancelled title and a photocopy of the sale invoice.
