This Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce is a fabulous example that has had a documented three owners since new. It was repainted once in its original Avorio (Ivory) color and retains its original interior and original 1,962cc DOHC engine with factory SPICA mechanical fuel injection. The engine had the top end redone in 2006, and the suspension was completely rebuilt along with other servicing at Ferrari of Seattle in 2008 (at a cost just shy of $7,000!), and the car has been driven fewer than 1,000 miles in the interim. This Spider spent its life from new in the San Francisco Bay Area until going to Seattle, WA, when its second owner moved there in 1991.
It has remained in the greater Seattle until present, and it has had just one additional owner, who acquired the car in 2005. The car retains all five of its factory 14×5.5-inch Campognolo alloy wheels as well as its original owners manual, and included with purchase is a meticulously kept notebook with comprehensive and unbroken servicing records dating from April 28, 1976 through present day, an original sales brochure, owner registrations and documentation, and even expired Alfa Romeo Owners club membership cards from the two most recent owners, dating as far back as 1992.
