Born in 1974, this Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 was delivered to its first owner in Houston, Texas, a known racing driver named Manfredo Lippmann, who raced for Porsche and Ferrari during the Carrera Panamericana.
According to Manfredo, the car was used to tour the US during his honeymoon and then kept preciously with the rest of his car collection in Guatemala. In 2005, the car was finally brought back to the US in Nevada by its second owner, to be displayed at the Imperial Palace Auto Collection and Museum in Las Vegas, then for a short period of time it was sent to and shown at the Shanghai Auto Museum in China. It was then sold in 2010, to its third owner in Canada, to finally come back into the US to Manhattan Beach, California in 2020.
The car, presented in its original and stunning color scheme, Navy Blue on Natural interior, is featured with its original 2.0-liter inline-four, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. It is equipped with Panasport wheels, a limited-slip differential, three-point front seat belts, air conditioning, and a Blaupunkt cassette player. This GTV is offered with a set of factory wheels, Panasport and Cromodora wheels, original window sticker price, manufacturer's literature, extensive service records, Guatemalan documentations, and documentations from the aforementioned museums.
It is now showing just 26,000 miles and believed to be original. According to the seller the car has been inspected recently, has been serviced and is ready to be enjoyed.
